Internet speed malfunctioning

August 2nd, 2016

My download speed is capped at like 60KB/s on both torrent and filesharing sites. Well my internet speed overall is worse than crap. I ran “netstat” check in cmd.exe and my IP has like 200 open ports. I’m guessing it’s a Trojan. Any failproof solutions? Well I obviously need network diagnostics program, any suggestions?
EDIT: I forgot to mention – there’s 6 devices in my home that have access to the router, which unfortunately has no built-in traffic tracker, is there anyway to track the entire router traffic from one of these devices?
EDIT: If it’s of any help, the Speedtest tests show my internet speed as it should be (6Mbits/1Mbit).

Answer #1
You ma want to try downloading stuff by booting into Safe mode with networking option and decide about the speed. No virus/Trojan would affect your PC in safe mode.
Answer #2
Yeah but that’s not practical solution, I wouldn’t like to use SM whenever I want to download something. And I’m not asking how to diagnose the problem, I’m asking if anyone knows a failproof solution.
Thanks for the help. Cheers
