Most store bought pc’s have a recovery partition and reset options to restore to factory default.
But give the links below a shot for windows 8. You have Refresh and Reset Options on win 8.
Don’t forget to backup any files that you want to keep on a disk or external drive.

But why do you want to start fresh? you mess something up? hehe
Answer #2
1) fix your problems
2) cant do that, never refresh
3) use ANY key grabber under the sun (guess you dont google)
4) backup everything
5) boot to live CD to format entire disk (to prevent the windows reserved partition)
5) look up a tweak guide to disable all the noobie features that get in the eway.
6) you gave no details about your pc, so this is all default.

Software like above should be able to find it assuming you can boot into the OS and it isn’t a volume license key.
Be careful if you download an image from here, you may need the OEM copy for your specific manufacturer, you’ll definitely need an OEM image though.
Why can’t you restore using the built-in recovery software (assuming this is a premade machine) or using the refresh/restore features built-in to 8?

What is reset and why is it taking almost 3 hours just to get to 51%? Reinstalling the whole windows 8 with disc would be quicker I am guessing than resetting windows 8 which I have no clue what it does. I am guessing but does resetting windows 8 erase everything on the laptop because it let me choose which drive I wanted to erase, I don’t want to use the recovery partition because I don’t want the junk that they put on the computer.

‘Reset’ will remove everything.
You could use the recovery partition, remove bloat then create a new image, eight using the manufactures software (if it supports creating custom restore images) or any of the imaging software available

WOW lenovo has to be the worst company ever because they don’t even give you an option to just reformat the os alone, in my old hp laptop the hp pavilion g7 1075dx they give the option to format the os only without any software or anything added and this lenovo even thought I did the reset thing which took me about 5 hours it still has the same bloatware as before. I am hating lenovo now and will never buy them in the future. !LENOVO SUCKS!
