Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Russian Version – HELP

Hey guys, a friend of mine has MW2 Multiplayer on Steam (Russian version). Another friend has the German version and he managed to change the language from German to English by replacing some files as far as I know.
So is it possible to change the language from RU to English aswel?
EDIT: I gave my friend my MW2 ENG steam account to download the game, he downloaded and he logged his MW2 RU steam account and now he has to download it again ,I guess the RU version didn’t recognize it.

yes i guess it is possible….i dnt knw the exact file names to be replaced but u can pm toothless for the solution or send him the link to this thread……
