Hard Disk I/O Error

I need to Extract my data specially my outlook pstfile which is about 23GB in size i need to extract my emails Please HELP

At which point are you receiving the HDD error?
Does your BIOS recognise the HDD?
Can you boot into safe mode? (In case it’s malware – have you actually ran a disk scan to see if it’s a hardware or software problem?)
Download a Linux Live CD, burn it to CD or USB and boot into that. See if you can mount the Windows drive/partition and access it from there. If you can, you should be able to copy the PST from your HDD to the USB stick (if enough room), assuming that part of the drive isn’t damaged.
