Help With Fixing My Camcorder

Hey
Does anyone know anyone in the UK (Essex) That can repair my Sony HVR-A1E?
I have had it sent to one guy in Southend, he said he fixed it and it worked for him but I can’t get it to work… It seems exactly the same and no where else says they can fix it
