Back up software

August 4th, 2013

Hi,
I need a program to automatically back-up all changes to a secondary HD .
We have a Server in our office and we need a program to auto back up from main HD to the Back up one.
And any change made in the main HD (even a letter on a file) will auto save it to my back up disc.
I know there is a program for that i just don’t know the name.
Please help me.

What you want is not a back up software. What you want is a RAID 1 set up. That way you will have ALWAYS the 2 hard drives mirrored. If one hard drive breaks down the system dont even blink and keeps running perfectly (just show you a warning so you know that you need to change the damaged drive in order to mirror again your system).
That is the perfect solution. That even runs in controller not in CPU so your system performance will not be affected. In fact thats not true. SINCE you have mirrored drives the access to hdd is EVEN faster.
well if you need more help just pm-me and I will help you set up that thing.
P.S.: The two harddrives should be the same size (the brand can be diferent)

You dont. Use ACRONIS True image (you can downloat it here on warez) and make an image of your hard drive (make an image by booting your pc trough Acronis CD and NOT by installling Acronis in windows and make image, it is safer this way if Operating System is not working when image is created). Then setup RAID. And then put back (restore) your image. It will be working in no time.
Good idea hun?
WARNING. Make TWO images (to be sure that everything is right if one image is corrupted) and put checkbox in “verify created image upon completed) in Acronis to, once again, be sure that image is good and all your data is secure)
P.s: check if your motherboard support RAID first. It it support (nowadays everyone supports) you can proceed with all process and buy two brand new (and bigger probably) hard drives. I say bigger because it is better to prevent now future income of data and lack of space.
P.s: Be careful with options choose upon hard drive image creation! You need to include MBR and stuff like that so that you would be able to restore entire image and pc boots normaly (like nothing has happen sort of speak).
Maybe you wanna get help in this process… just sayinnn…
