MP4 files won’t work on PS3

Can I have some help as I downloaded wwe in a mp4 format and it says corrupted data.i’ve noticed this with other sport events like boxing.
So can someone help me solve this.

It is probably the codec used in the mp4.
You can recode it using xmedia recode (free) by choosing the Sony PS3 setting and you should be fine to go.

it was made using codecs the ps3 dont like, you will need to run a program to make it ps3 codec format using a encoder i use avs video converter.
