[SOLVED]unzipping a rar file/ corrupt movies

hey gang, ive been away for some time just getting back into downloading.
my question is has anything changed it seems every time i download a movie and unrar it i get the corrupt file error code. it doesnt happen with apps just movies? any help would be great!

What are you using to decompress ?

Betting your using the older version of Winrar, which upgraded versions like 1-2 years ago.. Search through the apps for the latest one and that may fix your problem.
The newer version is 5.21 which you can check by opening winrar and going to help>about winrar..

Could be your downloading and it’s not fully downloading the whole thing but shows that it has

thanks all!!! ive downloaded winrar 5.21. though it does seem to happen just with the movies still. if it is downloading only partially is there a fix for that? im using uploaded.

use jdownloader2 stick ur uploaded details in it set downloads and connections to 1 and let it do the rest it extracts the rar’s for ya without ya needing to do it
