Zebra GK420d Direct Thermal Printer

February 7th, 2020

Hey…
I have the Printer in the title, and recently had to reinstall Windows on my iMac via Parallels,
i’ve installed the Zebra Driver and I use the Windows Preview to print from (not an actual printer software as I can’t find any keygens)
they print fine apart from they’re cutting a lot off from the top, basically it’s moved the whole design up.
I use 4×8″ Labels, and I have a 4×8″ design, I have the printer settings set to 4×8″ also, but when printing, it’s moving the whole design up about 2″
so it’s cutting off the top 2″ of the design and having completely nothing at the bottom 2″
Not sure which of the settings I need to change for this?
on the Printer Preferences it says about ‘Unprintable area’ and gives you a section to add a value to the left, right, top or bottom,
so I need to put something in here? (the top or bottom, and if so, what value)
or is there something else?

Does anyone know how to sort this?
I’ve reinstalled Windows on Parallels but still it’s printing with a 2″ gap at the bottom,
I tried added value to the ‘top’ and ‘bottom’ sections in the Printer Preferences but it would move the design down but then just cut off the bottom of the design,
still keeping that 2″ gap at the bottom.

The problem may be that Windows Preview is not made to print this stuff. Maybe the image is waiting for a special ending that Preview doesn’t include.

I’ve used Windows Preview previously for the past year, it’s just that I bought a Windows Laptop instead, thinking maybe the quality itself would be better but it wasn’t, so I installed Parallels and Windows again….
I reset the Printer itself by holding down the button until the 4 flashes, and it’s seemed to of worked, but still looking for a Keygen to use LabelView.
