Windows explorer crashing in windows 7

i wonder if somebody can please help me, everytime i open anything in windows i get a crashed message whic asks me to either debug the problem, restart etc, which is making it impossible to do anything at all, i cant do a re install as i havent got access to my discs, and i can only download from rapidshre,how the hell can i stop it from crashing all the time !!!!!

As a temporary measure, use a different filemanager. I use:

thanx for the link, at least i can access files , and yeah done several system restores,but i have no idea wot to do, i’ve run anti virus, malware spybot, and nothing seems to work

It’s probably caused by a buggy shell extension, Disable em one by one til you figure out which one is causing it.
