Is it possible > 2 screens, 2 vm’s, 2 games?
December 25th, 2013
I’m getting a second monitor for my birthday.
And I have a question for that.
I have many times friends over where I want to game with then.
But the problem is we only have one pc.
So I’m wondering if it’s possible to make a virtual machine that takes that screen and then put a keyboard and mouse for it and then game on it ?
Any one with experience or suggestions?
thx
Why not just run the two games at once without all the vm jargon.

That won’t work I guess, because you need 2 keyboards and 2 mouses.
I think Maybe it can work using only 1 VM and the other can start the game from the normal OS?
– On screen 1 you open the vm and start the game you want. (and also adjust the settings for the mouse and keyboard you want to use.)
– On screen 2 you start the game from the normal Operating System.
The only problem I can see atm is that the key commands and mouse from screen 2 maybe will be also recognised on screen 1 or vice versa , I don’t know.
I would say just try it, you can also test this on 1 screen to see if it works if you want. Just open both in windowed mode. .
Greets DESTROYER17.
Input will be either to the host OR the guest system.
I do not believe that there is a way to separate keyboard/mouse input so that the host only receives commands from one keyboard/mouse and not the other.
