AMD Rage hotfix driver for Windows XP?

Does anyone know can I use this new ATI Rage driver http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU121AMDCatRagePerfDriver.aspx for Windows XP as well.It says that it is for Windows 7 and I couldn’t find the one for Windiws XP or test this one cause I am still downloading the game.

I guess you don’t need it for XP..
