RAGE ATI FIX!

Hy guys!
I was trying to get RAGE running how it was supposed to, but no FIX worked for me. Then I saw some fix on the STEAM forums, some on other sites and figured my own way out :
(Remember to not use this steps if your game works fine, this tut is just for the texture bugs, not for the pop in textures as they are not such a problem for me, though they are loading pretty fast)
1. Uninstall what ever display driver you have , delete all ATI/AMD folders and delete the rest of the files with the Driver Sweeper wich can easily be found on the net.
2. Download ATI 11.6 driver
3. Make a fresh install of the game
4. DO NOT UPDATE IT WITH THE UPDATE IT WILL SCREW YOUR TEXTURES BAD!
5. Make a folder in C:/User/Appdata/Local/ with the name : id software , and in that folder make another one with the name : rage
6. Use any rageconfig file you think suites best to your pc, or make an own one. (Not obligate to run the game just fine)
7. Add those lines you can find in some posts on this web-site to the : Rage – Shortcut – Properties – target box after the Rage.exe. Remeber to make one space after .exe (Not obligate to run the game just fine)
8. Run it and have fun.
PS: Textures are still poping in, but its not that bad in my opinion. Texture bugs are solved. The update screwed my textures.

Or you can just use the new 11.10 v2 preview drivers that fixed all the problems 3 days ago.

Well this driver doesnt work for my Rage Black Box repack game. The textures were buggy and it didint work well. Now its just the pop in from the textures that are not so bad.

Hmm….. Update works fine, textures are screwed only if you have newest driver – but this is not for all people who play the game, for some newest driver work without any problem:
1. After you uninstall driver just restart pc
2. Why ATI 11.6 – INSTALL 11.9
3. Your choice will you make a fresh game – i did not
4. Update will fix texture problem – but if you have newest driver (i was have a texture problem to) – when you enable A.I. texture problem is solved but game is freezing – if you disable A.I. texture gone mad but game works fine.

Install Update 1 – this will solve texture problem – install ATI 11.9 this will solve problem with freezing – if game crash remove video files from game folder – i still have this video files in game folder but game crashes only 3 times per day for me. In ATI 11.9 disable A.I.
