YTD – latest version not working

After downloading and installing the latest version and applying the fix, I copied and pasted a link into ytd and it just sits there saying “Paused, waiting for internet connection”.
If I just click on the link in Youtube, it starts streaming without any problems, so it’s not my network connection. I installed WM Recorder and it downloaded the file.
My question is: why is YTD refusing to download? Is anyone else having this issue?

some videos cannot be downloaded because they wont allow you to download(copyright)

Thanks, but that is the copy I downloaded and tried. I’ve tried several other updated copies from other sites, but the results are all the same. Even videos I was able to download previously with YTD now won’t download. I’m stumped.
