Xbox 360 Games

I just bought a (pal) Xbox360 from my local K-mart store and i want to download some of the games on the console forums…
do i need to do anything to my xbox before i can run the files i download and burn?
also can my pal xbox run ntsc games? cause a friend of mine said the xbox is multiregional , also is it safe to play the burnt games on xbox live, cause i really dont wanna get bricked thanx in advance

you need it chipped first. Since its a newer model, its gonna be hard. You need the older BenQ or other drive(cant remember it, starts with P) and update it with custom firmware. The newer LiteOn drives cant do that. I dont think you can play on live and risk getting banned, the chipping also voids the warranty

U recon it’s just wiser to buy my games legit? iv’e got the money just was wondering if downloading would be a smarter move, but it looks like it would be to risky
