xbox 360 flash.

August 2nd, 2016

Hey guys, considering flashing my 360 but before i do I’ve a few things id like to clear up, hoping someone here can help.
1. Flashing is a firmware mod, so if xbox release an official update, will that wipe my flash and will i have to do it again?
2. I’ve only a 20gb hdd, if i upgrade, will i need to reflash?
3. I don’t have live gold, so i don’t play online, but my xbox is always connected to the internet, handy for youtube for the kid, can i have the xbox connected to the internet and still play backups? I’ve heard something of a safeguard or something about this but atm that’s unclear to me.
thanks for replies in advance guys.

If you simply copy the folder onto PC and leave the original on the USB drive, nothing's changed as far as the xbox is concerned (it will read fine, and the save is still there). If you remove the original from the drive it will need to run the set-up again. Which is no big deal - it only takes a couple of minutes.
If you're going to do this, I suggest choosing a small size (maybe 500mb or something - not sure how small you can go) during set-up each time for the USB drive, or it will take ages to transfer to PC each time, and take up a load of room. Remember when the xbox runs set-up it reserves 500mb for system files, so 500mb of actual storage becomes a 1gb file on the USB drive. Also, if you rename any of the folders on your PC in order to keep track of them, etc. you will need to rename them back to "Xbox360" when you put them back on the drive for use.

I would just invest in a good USB stick or two the largest U can get
