Wireless laptop netwrok help

sp i just updated my driver for the network card PS i was having two issues managed to solve one know the problems is my laptop wont connect to internet. i get the issue wireless network connection doesnt have a valid IP config.
I have tried to Ipconfig thing on CMD and i get same issue i have disable bonjour services on norton firewall.
i open newtwork and sharing center and i get
PC name——–> unidentified newt work —-x—> black internet icon
but on the network icon i get that it is connected to my network (Valdez Router)
Please help me Ill be at school so wont be back within 2 hours or so

I’d lean towards improper configuration on the router,Get into it’s web interface and make sure DHCP is
enabled,Also,Mac filtering should be disabled.

thats my diaganosetics cause everything works fine i’ll update you when i get home laptop charging

cant find mac filtering. and on the DHCP my router auto detected and i guess it changed it
but i do see NAT filtering

Not following,Is it enabled on the router or not?

This has nothing to do with it.

I take it you have tried disconnecting and then re-connecting ?

DHCP is enable just check status and my router is netgear wnr2000

Do the following:
1. Reset winsock:
Win7:

2. If still no go,Reset the router,First unplug all Ethernet cables,Then hold the tiny reset button on the back (with a pen/toothpick) for at least 15 seconds and release,Reconnect the cables and re-configure it.

OMG i think that worked but that command didnt work so i tired http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357#letmefixit
but ill let you know if anything happens
