winrar archiving help

whenever i compress a file into multiple files it gives me part01 instead of part1 part2 ect… how do i stop the part01 from coming and make it part1?

they need to be named like that so that winrar can find the next file

well ive compressed b4 and the file names where .part1 , .part2 ect not .part01

I don’t think the name matters as long as they are in order and giving the same ISO file when extracted.

ok because i want to use banbuster and it only works with .part1 not .part01 alsowell ive compressed b4 and the file names where .part1 , .part2 ect not .part01

right click -> rename
or the ‘rename’ command in the command prompt

So if i just rename to .part1 will banbuster still work? or does it have to orignially be produced as part1 for it to still work?

ok i tried and and uploaded it to MU but when it finished it says Undefinied what does this mean?
I have also tried about 10 differnet others and all same error and the files dont show up in my filemanager.

Again, It DOESN’T MATTER what the file is called as long as they extract the file you want! They come in more than one type of extensions like : .Part001, .Part002, .Part1, .Part2, .Part01, Part01, .Part00001, .Part00002 So just give it up!

ok also im having problems with MU as when i upload my files it always says undefinied and isnt in my filemanager.
Can you help me out with this?
