Windows XP Black Edition

January 24th, 2020

Hi,
I recently downloaded XP Black Edition Build 31 to replace Vista. This is around 5gb, which is too big to burn to any of my CDs / DVDs. I’m looking to do a clean install, so have backed up all my files and drivers already
Is it possible to put it on my external Hard drive and make the external HDD bootable? If so, how?
Thanks in advance

No it won’t boot off external hard drives..
Looking at the post on that xp version it seems it has 2 DVDs ?…Main and supplementary ?
So you just need the main disk to boot and install from and the other to add additional stuff ?
Maybe do a dual boot with Vista..

and remember that you may need different drivers for XP than you do for Vista..
