windows movie maker problem

i imported movie and when i put it to play the screen is black?
Wt is the problem…i imported avi file.

May be the movie maker does not support the file type and instead of showing an error message, its just playing blank. I advise you to convert the avi file to wmv and then import it. It should work. WMV format is highly supported in windows movie maker.
