Windows 7

March 4th, 2021

Hi I am using W7 Ultimate SP0 64-Bit en-US (Build 6.1.7600.16385) and I installed Net framework 4 but when I use some programs I get an error box pop up “.NET Initialization error” “Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application.”
My question is how do I find out what is missing or how can I install all necessary files (a packaged .Net framework with all files and dependencies as well) so that no files whether in system32 or anywhere on PC are missing after installing it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!

Well, I have no idea.
You can try to update your Net framework to version 4.5……
Answer #2
What I don’t get is why isn’t there a log file or something which tells you what is missing/needed so you can either install or simply copy to whichever location it is needed.
Answer #3
Did you check C:\Users\”your name”\AppData\Local\Temp for sign of a log file…..
Usually, a log file could contain more information…..
Answer #4
That’s what you get for using an old os, Youll have to manually install .net 4 or use windows update to get it.
