Windows 10 keeps on changing time

August 1st, 2016

The time on windows 10 changed to be a hour behind. Then I go to settings and move set time automatically and then set it back again it is the right time. Then a week from now it will do the same thing.
Any idea why?

Id presume a timeslot near you has or doesnt have day light savings time at the moment. Try and change it to exactly where you live in date and time settings.
Answer #2
I have and it still goes a hour back, every week or so
Answer #3
Maybe Google it to see if there are any particular problems with Windows 10 time for your region.

Try changing your NTP server.

Pick a local server pool from:

I had trouble with both windows and nist servers but oceania.pool.ntp.org works perfectly.

That was helpful, Looks like the windows time resync was not started. so hopefully it is fixed now. Thanks

I’m using ‘au.pool.ntp.org’ now.
Took me about an hour to figure out that you can overwrite the existing name on the server list and type or paste in your own.
I though that because it was a drop down list, it would be written in stone and you would not be able to change anything

Well that worked for a couple of weeks. Sunday windows 10 time was right. Monday Morning it went back a hour again.
