I have a Lenovo Y430 with Win7 32Bit Installed and im trying to use the Webcam which used to work on Xp/Vista but doesnt seem to now, I try and install the drivers but it says “Device Not Found, Please Plugin Device And Try Again”
But the webcam is installed into the lid so I cant exactly do that…

Go to Start and type:
device instalaltion
Then click where it says “Change device installation settings”
Then Click “Yes, do this automatically”

Make sure youve downloaded the correct drivers from the lenovo site for windows 7.
I also had a problem like that, all I had to do was install the software that came with the drivers to make it work. Again, check their website so see if you missed any of the drives/software

Yea ive seen that from the Googling ive tried.
But I know for a fact the webcam does work on Win7 cause I useda have Veriface, and it requires a webcam to even work.
