Limewire is not Illegal, its Illegal when u download from it tho. but if it will get shut down i dunno

to sum up abit more clearer. wbb only points to other sites hosting the “illigal content” wheras limewire and kazaa its peer to peer meaning one person is connected to another . so when both of them people downlaod music off each other then one must have the illigal music and so much the other so a client downlaoding music off kazza isnt turly downlaoing it off kazza there downloaing it off a host also using kazza as there peer to peer client

i doubt it will get shut down. i don’t think it was intended for illegal use. perhaps just harmless file sharing, but obviously it’s become a bit more than that. i just can’t see them prosecuting limewire. it’s the people who use it, not them.
and honestly, stop talking in title case. it’s really, really annoying.

Limewire doesnt offer anything illegal and they even offer downloads which are Legal – www.limewire.com/store
So limewire wont get shutdown!

I erased Limewire completely when I found out about this site. Good I got rid a long time ago before our stupid governement decided to “crack down” on illegal file sharing.

its not THAT bad. i dont use limewhire either when i fount out about this site , RS is much much much faster. peer to peer you have to reply on the uploading speed of the host on the peer to peer network.

I removed limewire compltetly
and ive stopped my mates and girlfriend using it, cause there providers are BT e.t.c
so i download music from here and send them it
alot safer than using limewire if u ask me
and no risk of virus

Limewire is full of viruses, I deleted it as soon as I registered at this site. I got so many viruses from it. BACK ON TOPIC
I don’t think it will get shutdown, but the chances of getting caught are much higher, now that governments are trying to crack down on illegal downloaders

limewire will never be shut down because it’s an valuable tool in combating the free music download epidemic. it’s the leading way investigators find downloaders, second is torrents. It lists your ip address for everyone to see and if you are downloading from home well then you caught…….for now either use or websites that allow you to download music from them. there’s tons and a whole bunch that users from here started. I would trust those over limewire or torrents any day.
