Widnows 98 System Restore

Does anyone know how to do a clean swipe of a windows 98 computer? I can’t figure out how to do a system restore. Help would be greatly appreciated. Please and Thanks

Windows 98 did not have a system restore feature. What we used to do back in the day was to re install windows 98 over itself to repair the install. then when setup asks about the windows.000 folder change it back to windows.
if you still have your CD you can start the System File Checker by clicking Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information, and then selecting Tools > System File Checker from the Microsoft System Information toolbar
it will scan system files checking for inconsistencies and replace them. then run walign from the command prompt.
