Why cant I log into my rapidshare account?!

Today I tried to download something off of rapidshare, but the download wouldnt go. When I tried to log in, I got this message:
The Account has been found, but the password is incorrect.
No biggie I told myself, I tried the “forgot your password?” button, and I put in the email I had the account attached to , but it said
Unfortunately no matching Account has been found. Please try again or send us an e-mail.
What gives?!

If I contact rapidshare, can they help me get it back? I mean it should still have records of the original email attached to it, right?
