Which is the best PC Configuration?

Which of these configurations is the best?
1.Intel® Core i5 2310 2.9GHz
AMD Radeon™ HD 6770 1GB GDDR5
1TB HDD
6GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM
2.AMD FX 4100 X4 3.6GHz
6GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM

The configurations are already made so i can’t change them.

I would go for number 2.
I think they have proved to be a reasonable and fast CPU and the graphics is a step up from the others.

I too would go for #2 for the said reasons.
However, I’d advice you to go for a custom build and choose all the parts suited to your needs. If that’s not an option for you, then go for #2

It depends on what you’re planning on doing with the PC. For everything else other than gaming the first setup will absolutely cream number 2 and 3. It might even give you better performances in games which are more CPU bound like Skyrim. Plus, it will also give you a way better upgrade path.

I would use it for gaming. I have looked some benchmarks and the core i5 2310 is better then FX 4100, but radeon 6850 is better then 6770.
So what is the best configuration for gaming next 2-3 years?

the phenom x6 is cheaper than the i5 2310(& the mb for x6 is cheaper)

As I’ve said earlier and now reiterate, go for a custom build so that you get the best CPU and GPU in your budget rather than this-one-has-better-CPU and this-one-has-better-GPU schemes. This way you’d be using your money effectively.
