Which download service to use?

RapidShare used to be the most widely used download service here on WBB – but, as we all know, it’s nowhere near as popular as it used to be.
Question is, what is the most popular service being used now? I thought it was MegaUpload at one point, but now I’m not so sure.
Just wondering what paid service to subscribe for for best results.

Technically rapidshare hasn’t changed at all for downloaders, you get the same amount of bandwidth a month at the same price. It’s only changed for uploaders seeing as they don’t get any rewards for uploading. I recommend MU

What is the deal with Fileserve out of all the servers It is the slowest and most unreliable in my area of north cali matter of fact if the file is larger then 5mb fileserve is sure to fail for me Meguupload usually gives me between 1 and 2 MB download speed as a free user and is much more user friendly However I noticed that Mediafire is also great for downloaders and as free users it offers multiple file downloads at a time and the speeds seem to be good around 600k a sec on 3 or 4 files at a time before it starts to get slower… Again This is my observations as a free user and downloader I have no Idea what it is like for the uploaders out there……. Also Jdownloader works super great for me

The OP is asking on which filehost it’s worth having a paid premium account on,Not free!
so your views have no correlation,There’s a big difference between
downloading as a free user and premium.

@ I have to say I find your post to be quite irrelevant, and quite rude, not to mention ill informed. The title of this thread is ‘Which download service to use?’ Most people including gave their own opinions on this, yet rather than do that you just decide to attack a poster why?

I was just giving some info on the file servers themselves other then the all so helpful xyz server is best because as far as i can see whether the op is premium or not The question posted and I believe the Op would be looking for info on the subject. I myself have hosted files in the past on a few of the servers and had premiums however I am not paying for anything at the moment at based on what i have experienced as a free user I would never pay or try to use fileserver for any reason at this point. Megaupload would be my go to and If i start uploading again I deff use mediafire and megaupload.
