What’s wrong with my ISP?

Am having a random and annoying problem. Changed ISP (virigin uk) and for the first few weeks all was good, super fast speeds.
Now though some links, seemingly random, will download at almost no speed at all. Others at my usual fast speed.
I use ul.to almost exclusively but it also happens with others, so must be my ISP? or could it be something else?

you downloading same times of day all the time? and are you using idm or jdownloader?

I’m with Virgin and I’ve not noticed anything like this before. What area of the country are you in and what package are you on?
Also, you have checked that you are still signed in with premium accounts haven’t you?

You can only have what comes out of the tab, no matter how big your pipes are..
Download speed is limited by the download source not your ISP..
I’m also with VM..

It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve experienced similar issues , some hosting sites are not exactly forthcoming with the facts about their “unlimited” download speeds.
When the server load is stepped up the speeds can suffer , I’ve noticed it a lot with uploaded in particular .
