Whats that program that needs a pass to boot up ?

Whats that program again called that puts a password which is required to continue to boot up the cpu? Also is it possible for one to also shut down after a while if password isn’t entered? I need one of these thanks

In BIOS you can set system password, which ask everytime systems boots.

can i also set a time limit for it to turn off if password is entered incorrect or not entered for a couple of mins/seconds? and also is it possible to change pass after a while? thanks a lot guys

You can change the pass :\ but no time limits etc.

Even if it is turned off, someone could just turn the computer back on?
Also, you may be talking about truecrypt?

oh yeah i think it was truecrpyt but it don’t got no time limit where it will shut down automatically correct? because i dont want people messing with my laptop when i get it
