Answer #1
I get the 2 disc part but the digital is just added to make it more appealing considering it’s already a Digital Versatile Disk.
Answer #2
Is it not a copy that has an ipod version that you can import into itunes? Something along those lines?
Answer #3
You got a code which you enter somewhere to download the digital copy
Most of the time the 2nd disc have bonus stuff (not just a code for a digital copy , that would be a completly waste of a dvd )
Answer #4

Digital copy is a (Digital Rights Managed) DRM-video format of a movie that can be transferred and played at many portable media players (incl. PC) but with some limitations that mainly concern the expire date of the video and the times that can be played.

well the good news is your search function is great. It led me here
I have a few of the kids DVD’s that have this type of copy format/protection on the disks.(fox-digital copy) The disks are in less than perfect condition hence I wish to back them up for use through the PC>TV. However, I have no serial numbers for said disks and therefore am unable to transfer the WMV (contained within the DVD disk) onto my PC. Was hoping someone might know how to do this, have tried a number of basic options to no avail. Also a DVD rip programme wont read the disk at all.
Thanks in advance, sorry if this isnt really in the right place but it relates to my querie and I did search first.
