What is the best alternative to JDownloader?

Atm I’m trying Tucan Manager, but it isnt that good.
So if you know any alternative to jdownloader post here please.
Ps: JDownloader is a download manager for the servers like rapidshare, megaupload, 2shared and others. You just paste the links and it download all of them, without captcha. It dont accelerate the download, but makes your life easier downloading all the stuff automaticly.

Here is what I use. First I use Firefox (internet browser), then I downloaded “FlashGot” (its an addon for Firefox) Then I downloaded Orbit (its a download manager, just like JDownloader).
Here is what you do after you have all of those installed.
Go to a page where you have all the links you want to download, highlight all of them and rightclick -> Flashgot Options -> Orbit, then a window pops up make sure all the downloads are checked off and click download.

When I did what you said Orbit downloaded all the files with 13kb, same error when you try to use a download accelerator in one of that servers without a premium acc.

cryptload is alternative program but jdownloader is better than cryptload
You know that you can disable the special effects in the new version? That might help it run better on you PC.

i have been using that, i dont have a high end PC, and it works fine, chack that out
Dude..If you’re saying, ” The new version of jDownloader is not running smoothly on your poor pc” then don’t you think you should download the older version and keep it away from getting updated???
How about download direct
If you use Flash Get and then download the Flash Got Addon for fiefox it will work like a charm
If you use Flash Get and then download the Flash Got Addon for fiefox it will work like a charm But without a premium account, you have to go to via rapidshare and do the waiting…so it won’t improve the speed because free users can only download a single stream and a single file at once anyhow..Same applies with IDM or any ‘normal’ type of download manager…Dunno about jDownloader though..
JUST USE THE OLD VERSION………DONT UPDATE IT
Open configuration in JDownloader and remove the ticks near enable extended effects and enable window decorations. That should give you some increase in performance. Cryptload is the most close alternative but no other download managers are good enough for free users imo.
