what headphone do you think is good for me?

August 7th, 2016

Okay so I just want headphones that I can use at gym. As much as I can live with the iphone earbuds I can’t stand them to keep falling off while I run so any alternatives? I think I should buy an over the head earphones or one of those earphones for exercise. I do care bout sound quality so nothing bad. I would also like I can have bluetooth on the headphone.

For on-ear or over-ear I’d suggest visit a local stockist, you can see which one’s hold to your ears better whilst exercising, no point giving yourself a health and safety issue just for the sake of a set of pretty cans.

As much as I would like to go to a store and talk to an idiot that knows nothing. I mostly shop amazon/ebay. Parking annoyings me, lines annoys me, idiot people who work there knowing nothing annoyings me. I don’t use headphone regularly so I just need some good headphones for exercising really but I sometimes I do use headphones so I won’t mind spending some money on a good pair of headphones. I hate bestbuy/walmart/target or anywhere that sells electronics because I would rather shop it on amazon plus there prices are sometimes cheaper.

Just out of curiosity just tried a brief jog in my Sennheiser Momentum’s and they hold nicely , not so sure about myself though, getting too old for the jogging lark , sound is awesome. They aren’t cheap though, but much to my annoyance they have come down in price and Amazon do sometimes have them on offer (normally when they only have a couple left in stock).
Edit: Also the cable does disconnect from the headphones so if you catch the cable it disconnects rather than trashing the whole set.

That looks so ugly. What about monster DNA or beats solo 2 wireless?

Ugly? Compared to the childrens earmuffs you’ve highlighted I’ll leave it to others to suggest, we all have different taste’s

I’d be embarrassed to be seen in public wearing any of those ear-warming monstrosities.
If they really are for the Gym you don’t want 2lbs of loose-fitting plastic sitting on your head, you’ll probably pull a muscle trying to save them when they inevitabley fall off. Get something small and tight like Bowers & Wilkins C5’s or something.
If you just want to look good and have flashy headphones.. beats seem to be very popular with the ladies. Might aswell go all-out poncey git and get some white ones.

Showcase your lack of style and desperation with these stunning white Beats by Dre Solo 2 Headphones. These headphones are ideal for any person with more money than sense, with awesome drivers that provide spine-tingling noise for those around you on the bus to enjoy. The aesthetics are incredible too with exquisite curves and a plasticy, cheap, toy-like design. Easily adjustable and foldable too, the Beats Solo 2 are a great choice for teenagers and child-like semi-adults worldwide.

I don’t really care about weight on my head but dang I forgot about sweat I don’t want sweat on my beats. Have you tried the bowers c5 that you were telling me bout? It seems nice for going to gym with. Does it really cut out noise from outside if you were wearing them?

What’s your budget? When I was looking at what to buy, I quickly had it narrowed down to a couple choices. If you don’t want to spend a ton, the Plantronics BackBeat Go 2 are good for around $60. If you want to spend >$100, the JayBird BlueBuds X are phenomenal. I got mine when they were a good deal but they were still almost $130. The upside to the BlueBuds is they’re sweatproof, and if they are ruined by sweat, they’ll replace them for free for life.
Answer #10
I will never Beats again, overpriced piece of crap kit…go for Senns or AKG, good value for money and they will last, out and and about, or even while jogging.

They looks nice but I don’t like it that the volume cuts out during controlling volume. Max I can spend on headphone is $500. Answer #12
I’ve had some similar to those before and they definitely weren’t great but were serviceable. Expect mediocre audio quality at the pricing point.
Answer #13
Those Sony earbuds could be all you need for the gym or on the run..
No point in risking damage to a $500 pair.
