Dolby Headphone for 64-bit windows 7?

August 11th, 2013

I had Dolby Headphone setting in my latest Realtek driver when I had 32 bit Win7 installed in the PC and when I installed 64-bit Win7 and 64-bit realtek drivers, the Dolby Headphone setting is gone. There is only a thing added called Virtual Surround but it did not sound any similarity to the Dolby Surround version. Am I doing something wrong here
I’m missing the Dolby Surround alot it gives me the jizz listening to music its like wearing 5.1 speakers around ur ears

Answer #1
in media center under setting for dvd audio turn of auto volume and see if that works.
Other solutions, Try n the notification area (right-hand side of the taskbar) right ckick on the “Volume” icon.
Select “Playback Devices” … This should open the “Playback” tab (default).
Highlight your default device then click on the “Properties” Tab below it.
Select the “Supported Formats” tab.
In the “Encoded Formats” box, un-tick… DTS Audio, Dolby Digital & Microsoft WMA Pro Audio.
Then click ok.
Restart your dvd with wmp 12, and this should work.
another possible solution
if you have 3dsoundback run it in compatibilty mode for Windows Vista Service Pack 2, add the applications and see if that works
