Warez linking legal?

I just thought of it. It’s illegal to have weed () in your house (server), but it’s not illegal to tell people where is the best weed () around.
It’s only illegal when there is on a onshore server right? But linking wouldn’t make it illegal.

i think it depnds on what country the server is in as evry country has different laws over things liek this. providing links to illegal stuff such as can be clssed as aiding/promoting piracy. thats how pirate bay got shut down because technically they diddnt ahve any illegal files on their servers but they was helping aid it
