Want to know about Beta!

I dont know about Beta version of softwares that what is this. Please explain me what is beta version and what is the difference between original version and beta version.

A beta is an uncompleted release. The software makers will usially release a beta to get feedback and then make improvments before they release the finished version.

alpha stage is first try out and beta usually nearly final release for testing and feedback purpose both of which can have several versions
