w810i white screen flash

i have a sony ericsson w810i i had for about 2/3 years but then it gave me problems when you turned it on you cant see the icons ( walkman, enter pin) but the theme is there all you can see is the battery info and recption and select and more you can go into the phone like normal but after a few seconds it reboots its self flashing the screen but it looks like it is turning off and on i dose this for about 30 seconds then it will go back to the menu and do it again .then i updated it from the sony website and now when you turn it on it says please wait then the screen flashes turns of and on a few times then it says please wait again but nothing happens.
can u help me? what do i do?

well try updating the software, download the program from sony ericson website
