Laptop white screen – Help

I need help with my Sony Vaio laptop. I have been getting white screen.
This is the closest video that i found that relates to the same problem i am facing.

I tried with external display and it works fine. So, i know its not the motherboard. So, if someone knows whats wrong with the screen. If its the cable or replace whole screen.

replace whole screen.
sounds like the TFT (Thin film transistor) layer of the panel is bad
try reseating the cable to be sure, but “replace whole screen.” sounds like the way to go

I guess I’ll have to buy new screen with someone who also accepts returns, incase if that’s not the problem.
