Vista Ultimate 64

O&O Defrag reports a file error. When I try to run chkdsk it just flashes. I never get the opportunity to run at start up. How do I run it …. am I doing something wrong? I don’t have a boot disk and the hd is not backed up.

try start–>run–>cmd–> chkdsk drive: /f

Thank you I smartened up and searched for the chkdsk and ran as an Administrator. I never would have thought of it with out you help.
