I have windows 7 ready to install but i can’t select anything because i can’t get anywhere near using a CD! I ran an F8 option that said the C and D drives are “clean” and its a system 32 issue as near as i can tell a corrupt file a complete guess is there anyway i can by pass this and install windows 7 or is there another solution please guys help me its 6 am in Ireland where i am i can’t sleep until i fix this! Answer #2
hi..did you try pressing F10 at the boot screen…. i’m not 100% sure ,but I think you should have a “Recovery Console” on a hidden partition.
try all the “F” buttons if this don’t work ,i’m not familiar with “iQon” .
and you’re saying that you have a Win7 DVD ,do you know how to boot it ?

I tried all the F key options at start up with no luck unforunately F10 and another option F9 recovery X2 or something that affect, yes that right about Windows 7 as i am to understand i have to get in to windows to boot it or am i wrong? i can’t get in to windows you see it loads up then before i can do anything i get that error message and if X it or Cancel it no matter what i try it ALWAYS restarts @ that point i even used the task manager to close the window still restarts i can get up the task man thats about all no Start menu or Desktop icons etc

Just enter your BIOS before windows starts up and set your system to boot from your CD/DVD drive and it will start the installation
Try F12 or read this :

i am to understand i have to get in to windows to boot it
nope
you can either enter the BIOS (setup) with an F key or maybe DELETE key and change the boot order to DC/DVD 1st
or
most new PC’s/lappy’s have a BOOT MENU key on the boot screen where you direct select you boot device
these are clean install options
the only time you need to be inside windows is to do an upgrade install
