Virus ?

HEyy,
Ive recently installed AVG 8.5..
but ive noticed in task manager theres something called
‘system’
and it takes about ~60mb of ram :O
i didnt notice it before..
is it a virus?
or sometihng AVG uses :O ..
Help would be good. Cheers!

AVG sucks. Always gave me lags/problems. Try NOD32

try using another antivirus!!!!

If you are unsure whether your system is clean or not then you can do the following and myself/other members of w-bb will be glad to assist you:
Please download the current version of Hijack This from here. http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/hijackthis/HJTInstall.exe
Double click and run the installer. It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run. Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.

Better use ESET NOD32 its very good….
Runs on my PIII 256MB very fine and not processor intensive
