User Taskbar Double Sized?

August 3rd, 2016

Ok, i recently updated my LastXp with all the latest USB version etc..
installation went fine however my taskbar seems to be double in size. My last version of Lastxp was normal size but this one seems to be double size…
i can expand it and shrink it however it will only go to a certain size (double sized).
is there a way i can make my taskbar go back to normal?
remember it was like this when i installed it ^^
So i just want my taskbar back to normal size (reg edit maybe?)
any help would be appreciated
cheers
P.S:
To give you a better understanding of what i mean, here are some pics …
First pic is my normal size (default) task bar, second pic is to show i do know how to expand and shrink taskbar but i can’t seem to get it to normal size.

Answer #1
try to relocate the shortcuts at the bottom maybe because they’re in the way (looks like dekstop and firefox)
Answer #2
If your bar is locked, unlock it by right clicking the bar and un checking the Lock the taskbar option. Move your mouse over the top until it turns into a 2 sided up and down arrow, click and hold the mouse button and drag the bar until its the desired height you want. right click the bar and recheck the lock the taskbar option.

yup i tried but i can’t seem to adust it even without the shortcuts. i removed them but my taskbar still seems to be double size If your bar is locked, unlock it by right clicking the bar and un checking the Lock the taskbar option. Move your mouse over the top until it turns into a 2 sided up and down arrow, click and hold the mouse button and drag the bar until its the desired height you want. right click the bar and recheck the lock the taskbar option.
hehe yup i know, that i why i put second picture to show i do know how to resize the taskbar except it is still double. it won’t go any lower or else i can’t see my taskbar.
still need help ^^
Answer #4
Unlock it and click and drag the very top of the bar. It should go back to the normal size.
Answer #5
ok with the bar un-locked, see the little dots to the left of the quick shortcuts? Click and hold them down, and drag it to the little dots to the left where Firefox and IDM sit which is the right of the windows start menu. Then try to resize it to normal (this is using the first screenshot)
