[Urgent]Help With External Hardrive

When I Plug In My External Hardrive My Computer Doesnt Recognise It ..I Have Used It On Several Other Computers And It Works Fine .. Im Not Sure Wetha Its My Usb Ports Because If I Plug Something In It Says I Need A Disc But Older Stuff That I Have I Just Plug It In And It Works I Have Added A Screen To Help Show What Happens When I Plug It In Thanks If You Can Help

then it seems its either the usb or motherboard is unable to recognise it properly, have you tried a different usb port?

First of all IOMEGA is crap. Second did you safely remove your drive with the icon in the bottom right corner? or did you just pull it out ? Might be the reason why this Icon has been invented. -> USB crap. does it work in another USB port?
