URGENT HELP ABOUT A PRINTER!

I was just printing something and then the Printer didnt sound to healthy, I opened the top and the Codestrip was hanging off, I think its just a clip on thing….
I got a Lexmark X2480
its really important I need my Printer cos I design and make t-shirts and got a load to do by tomorrow so need to find out how and where this Codestrip goes!!
tried looking on the net but no luck so im praying someone on here will know.

If that is what it is mate, i recommend you go to walmart right now and go buy a 25 dollars printer. There is not much you can do…

Yes, I don’t think there is much you can do with it…
Still it’s a cheapie so a new one costs as bout as much as an ink cartridge

what’s a codestrip ? the flat wire goinig to the head ?
