Uploading Using Rapidshare (HELP!)

August 4th, 2016

Hi guys I’m new to uploading and am trying to upload a large file which is almost 4gb. I have split it into 33 parts so every file is 100mb using winrar. I’ve downloaded Rapid Uploader to upload all 33 parts to Rapidshare, however it is very slow as it does one file at a time. I’m getting upload speeds of around 30KB/S and the estimated time remaining is 30 hours!!!!! Is there simply a quicker way in which I can upload all files at one time?? I will really appreciate someones help.
Thanks.

Whats your connection speed?
Your upload speek will be nothing like your download speed mate, its always slow uploading.

Answer #4
Cable doesnt tell me how fast your connection is.
Go here – http://speedtest.net
Run and speed test and post the results here.
Make sure you pause all download and uploads before doing the test.
Answer #5
Ok I have ran the speed test.
Download: 7043kb/s
Upload: 233kb/s
Answer #6
Then your upload speed is normal mate.
Even though it says upload: 233kb/s, you will only be able to upload at around 30kb/s on that connection.
Ive got a 700kb/s upload speed, and can only upload at 100kb/s

Alot of people don’t understand this. Speed test actually measures speed in kilobits but on your computer you see kilobytes. 1 kilobits = 0.125 kilobytes
So your 233 kilobits = 29.125 Kilobytes (233 X 0.125)
Your actual upload speed is about 30 Kbs which is pretty normal.

Yup 30kb/s is about the same as me. theres nothing much you can do to speed up your upload speed except change your internet isp or to a different package. Sorry.
