Unusual slow start up
April 22nd, 2019
Lately i have been having really slow start ups… I have tuneup utilities in turbo mode and its still slow.. It takes about 10 minutes for the system to be responsive and for me to continue my tasks… I have done virus scans using nod32, spyware checks using malware bytes..defragments..and still have this problem.. the start up programs started getting me worried so i uninstalled nod32 and malware bytes and some other programs to see if the firewall was creating the slow start up and it still starts up really late.. what could be the problem guys?
Do you have any programs that might be conflicting, especially security software (i.e. two HIPS using kernel hooks) ? Did you try disabling startup programs and looking for a culprit ? You can try installing soluto, it will show how much each program/service takes to load on boot. If it doesn’t help post again.

run–>msconfig.
You should use tune up, it can really boost your PC if you use all the fonctions
also check to see it you have drive problems with “Hard Disk Sentinel”
Check your DMA settings:

1. Remove unnecessary programs using Your Uninstaller 2010.
2. Clean temporary files using CCleaner.
3. Defragment registry and system drive.
4. Optimize services according to the below list.
http://www.blackviper.com/Windows_7/servicecfg.htm
5. Remove almost everything from startup, keep it only if you really need it.
6. Disable that Turbo thing of tuneup and remove its all services too. Its ironic that tuneup services itself eats up lot of memory and makes things slow.
7. Clean your registry using TuneUp (Just for the sake of ‘feel good’ )

How old is you laptop ? try to back up whats important then do system restore to as far back as you can go, if its less than a year old contact your retailer for advice, maybe they could repair or refund.

I had this problem before, and I believe that the culprit was some start up programs and my Norton antivirus which I have replaced.
the problem sort of fixed itself after a couple junk file cleaning, registry clean up, and start up pogram and service disablement with advanced system care and advanced system optimizer.

Wow seems like the eventvwr service is not running. Do you use a stripped down version of Windows? There’s no way to diagnose your slow bootup now other than manually checking drivers/software

I still haven’t found a solution for this…damn..
