Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7

Is there any way around to get rid of this troubling IE 7 and have the 6th ver instead!!?
Used to have it, i.e. the 6th release fixed with the versions I set up, but when I installed a newer one, it came with this bothering release.
I found out away but didn’t work for me!!!
It may work for you as well so, I’ll mention it:
It’s by typing this code in the RUN:
%windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe
So, if anyone knows other ways, plz let us know…

have you just recently installed? if so do a system resotre
if not you can downlaod the version you want and instal over it

Have recently installed a windows version not IE.
The windows version comes with the 7th IE, updated I mean, and u can’t install previous versions to the 7th!!

I went onto “Add or Remove programs” and then go onto “Add/remove Windows components” and then select “Intenet Explorer”
