Tricky problem: run a program without its required USB

So, a friend of mine borrowed me a USB with a program for me to practice Driving Code exams. The USB has some files and some instructions and it�s quite easy to install. However, to use the program properly I must have the USB plugged in. I�m trying not to have that restriction. I already tried copying the files to another USB and install in another computer, but it doesn�t work. Just like when you don�t have the pen plugged in, the program will start at first but then it states �key not detected� when I try to start an exam.
I have uploaded the files contained on the USB (there were no hidden files). Here�s the link:

In order to install the program, you must run the msi.file in the �[PC] Testes-Usb� folder. It will install the program and create a shortcut on the desktop.
When you have the program installed without the USB plugged in, you can run it and click �Categoria B e B1�. However, if you click �Teste de exame� or another option, it will state �Chave n�o detectada� (key not detected). To exit the program, click �Sair�.
So, is it possible to run the program properly without having that specific USB plugged in?
There are some programs that require you to have the actual USB installed (certain VTS’s) and i dont think there’s a way to bypass this :/
The short answer is probably going to be no.
Unless it is software that is common and/or desireable enough to find its way into the groups, a crack may not exist. The USB stick is more than just flash memory:
