Transfering data

Hi guys,here is my question…I have HDD that isn’t in my pc anymore(it is internal HDD) and I want to transfer some data to my laptop…so which cable should I use?

you not mentioned your internal HDD Sata or non Sata. you need USB 2.0 Universal Drive Adapter check this one

if the hdd is no longer in your pc, then do as Leader said, otherwise you need a cross-over ethernet cable

You can also buy a dual ide/sata external caddy. I got one for about £12, it has a dual internal socket and a usb connect to the laptop. power comes from lappy.
Works perfectly.
