Toshiba R500 Laptop Bios supervisor password

January 16th, 2014

Well, I own a Toshiba R500 Portege. The good part is that I remember the first password (user password). The bad part is that I cant remember the second password (supervisor password). So, I have acces to power Up the laptop. When It comes the moment to change the OS – I cannot acces the Boot Menu, Also the second page of the bios settings, pressing PGDWN or PGUP, not working.
I have a solution, I´ve managed to Install Backtrack 5 : do this: Remove HDD. Insert BT5 DVD. boot: Will display this message: buit in HDD error. In this moment, plugin the HDD. Then it boots from CD, After BT5 loads press “INSTALL BT5”. Youre done. No other OS will load, W7 will display no HDD partition. only BT5 works.
QUESTION: How can I manage boot or bypass “supervisor password? The Bios is ACPI BIOS Version 1.5.
Thanks.
